In 1993, Vivien founded Vivien Maier and Associates, Inc. and has never looked back. She has organized and executed countless events and conferences in the United States, Europe and Asia. With more than 20 years of event planning experience, Vivien has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including health care, financial, technology, marketing, legal, education, and non-profits. These events often include world leaders, such as President Hu Jintao of China, and ranking members of Congress.
In a previous life, Vivien worked for Western Airlines, where she managed their credit union in Seattle. She later worked for Seafirst Insurance (a subsidiary of Seafirst bank, now Bank of America) - first as a Personnel Officer and then as Vice President of Marketing.
Her strong work ethic, creativity and sense of adventure combined with her keen eye for detail and extreme thoroughness, made event planning a natural fit for Vivien. She has been awarded the "Planner of the Year Award" by the Washington State Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. Vivien has served as the organization's President and was also a board member for 10 years.
